In this course we will be discussing about the bases of measurement that are applied for recording and presentation of financial information. It must be noted that the accounting bases of measurement are not the same as the bases of measurement we will be discussing in the context of financial modelling and valuation, though some of the measurement concepts are the same.
This course discusses with the basic concepts of recording of financial information in books of accounts . The course also discusses about the application of Dual aspect concept and Accounting Equation in detail.
